At RebootHub, all refurbished laptops, desktops and computer products are inspected and tested before being dispatched. We aim to provide reliable products along with appropriate return, replacement and warranty support.
This Return & Warranty Policy explains the applicable conditions for product returns, replacements and warranty services for purchases made through RebootHub.in.
1. Refurbished Products
Products sold on RebootHub may be refurbished, pre-owned or professionally tested products.
As these products may have been previously used, minor scratches, marks or other cosmetic signs of previous use may be present.
Minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the functionality of the product are not considered functional defects.
2. Return Period
Customers may request a return or replacement for an eligible product within 7 days of delivery, subject to the conditions mentioned in this policy.
The return period begins from the date the product is shown as delivered by the applicable courier partner.
Return requests must be raised through RebootHub customer support within the applicable return period.
3. Eligible Reasons for Return
A return or replacement request may be considered in situations including:
- Product received in a damaged condition
- Incorrect product received
- Product received with a major functional defect
- Product not matching the essential specifications mentioned on the product listing
- Missing item or accessory that was specifically included in the order
- Product not functioning properly due to a covered issue
All return requests are subject to verification by RebootHub.
4. Dead on Arrival / Initial Functional Issue
If the product has a major functional issue immediately after delivery, the customer should contact RebootHub customer support as soon as possible.
The customer may be required to provide photographs, videos, diagnostic information or other evidence to help identify the issue.
After verification, RebootHub may provide an appropriate resolution, which may include troubleshooting, replacement, repair or refund, depending on the circumstances and availability.
5. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, the product should generally:
- Be the same product supplied by RebootHub
- Not have physical or liquid damage caused after delivery
- Not have been opened, modified or repaired by an unauthorized person
- Include the applicable accessories supplied with the product
- Be returned with available original packaging where reasonably possible
- Have all identification labels, serial numbers and security labels intact where applicable
Products that do not meet the applicable return conditions may be rejected after inspection.
6. Products Not Eligible for Return
A return or replacement may not be accepted for issues caused by:
- Physical damage after delivery
- Liquid or water damage
- Broken or damaged ports
- Screen damage caused by impact, pressure or mishandling
- Unauthorized repair or modification
- Damage caused by misuse or negligence
- Virus, malware or third-party software
- Unauthorized operating system or BIOS modifications
- Electrical or power-related damage caused by external factors
- Normal cosmetic wear and tear
- Normal battery degradation
- Missing accessories or components
- Damage caused by incompatible accessories or chargers
- Any alteration of the product's serial number or identification markings
This policy is subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
7. Return Request Process
To request a return or replacement, customers should contact RebootHub customer support with:
- Order number
- Customer name
- Registered mobile number
- Reason for return
- Photographs/videos where applicable
- Description of the issue
RebootHub may provide return instructions after reviewing the request.
Customers should not ship products back without receiving return instructions or authorization where such authorization is required.
8. Inspection of Returned Products
Once a returned product is received, RebootHub may inspect and test the product to verify the reported issue.
The inspection may include checking:
- Product condition
- Serial number
- Hardware functionality
- Display
- Keyboard and touchpad
- Ports
- Storage
- RAM
- Battery
- Charger
- Operating system
- Physical or liquid damage
The final return/replacement/refund decision will be based on the applicable policy and inspection results.
9. Replacement
Where a replacement is approved, RebootHub may provide the same or an equivalent product, subject to availability.
If the exact model is unavailable, RebootHub may offer an alternative resolution after discussion with the customer.
Replacement products may also be refurbished or pre-owned products unless specifically stated otherwise.
10. Refund Instead of Replacement
If a replacement is not available or another resolution is appropriate, RebootHub may process an eligible refund according to its Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method.
11. Warranty Coverage
Warranty duration will be specified on the relevant product page, invoice or warranty document.
Unless otherwise stated, the warranty covers functional defects arising under normal use during the applicable warranty period.
Warranty coverage is limited to the product and components specifically covered by the applicable warranty.
12. Warranty Service
For an eligible warranty claim, RebootHub may, at its discretion and depending on the nature of the issue:
- Troubleshoot the problem remotely
- Repair the product
- Replace a defective component
- Replace the product
- Provide another appropriate resolution
The applicable resolution will depend on the nature of the fault, availability of parts/products and warranty terms.
13. Battery Warranty
Laptop batteries are consumable components and naturally degrade over time.
Battery backup and battery health may vary depending on the age, model and previous usage of a refurbished laptop.
Normal battery degradation is generally not covered under warranty unless a specific battery warranty is mentioned on the product listing, invoice or warranty document.
14. Software & Operating System
Where Windows is specified in the product listing, RebootHub provides a genuine, properly licensed Windows operating system according to the applicable license associated with the device.
Software issues caused by third-party applications, viruses, malware, unauthorized modifications, pirated software or changes made by the customer after delivery are generally not covered under hardware warranty.
Customers are advised to maintain backups of their important data.
15. Data Responsibility
Customers are responsible for backing up their personal files, documents, photographs and other data before returning a product or submitting it for warranty service.
RebootHub shall not be responsible for loss, corruption or deletion of customer data during testing, repair, replacement, operating system installation or other service activities.
16. Warranty Exclusions
Warranty does not generally cover:
- Physical damage
- Liquid or water damage
- Accidental damage
- Broken hinges, ports or connectors
- Screen cracks or damage caused by pressure/impact
- Unauthorized repair or modification
- Tampering with internal components
- Damage caused by improper voltage or electrical fluctuations
- Damage caused by incompatible accessories
- Malware, viruses or software-related problems
- Unauthorized BIOS/firmware modifications
- Normal battery degradation
- Cosmetic wear and tear
- Damage resulting from misuse or negligence
Specific product-level warranty terms, if different, will take precedence.
17. Warranty Void Conditions
Warranty may become invalid where the product has been:
- Opened or repaired by an unauthorized person
- Physically modified
- Tampered with
- Damaged by liquid
- Damaged due to misuse
- Modified in a manner that affects the covered hardware
- Altered in a way that makes the serial number or product identification unreadable
18. Warranty Claim Process

19. Shipping During Warranty Service

20. No Unauthorized Repair
Customers should not attempt to repair, open or modify a product that is covered under warranty without prior approval from RebootHub.
